I am a sapphire miner from the Central Queensland gem Fields. I started under ground sapphire mining in 1979 with my wife and two children.
Starting from humble beginnings as a thing to do and am now full time mining cutting and jewellery manufacturing
I belong to the gemmological association of Queensland, the Brisbane branch where I studied gemmology.
After obtaining my diploma in gemmology I went on to study Diamond grading and completed a course in Jewellery and gemstone Valuation. I am now a registered Jewellery Valuer with the Nation council of Jewellery Valuers, Queensland. Registration number Q158
